Junior Project Manager – Digital & Web

Our client, a leading pensions organisation based in Crawley are looking for a Junior Project Manager/Project Coordinator to join their team. Our client are looking for someone energetic and proactive to support the programme management function that enables the organisation to achieve it’s goals. Responsible for digital/web/online projects, the successful candidate will be coordinator projects, managing issues, risks and dependencies ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget.

Key responsibilities will include:

– Contribute to the preparation of project documentation in a full project management lifecycle including maintenance of project files and compilation of reports.
– Manage 2-3 projects as delegated by the Programme Manager in accordance with defined project accountabilities
– Establish controlled project quality procedures and administer all related project plans including quality, test and implementation plans.
– Manage project progress proactively, resolving issues through initiating appropriate corrective action.
– Ensure efficiency in allocation of resources across projects and provide timely and appropriate reporting ensuring escalation of critical issues.
– Develop team working principles with all areas of the organisation that encourage a positive and co-operative environment.

The sort of projects this person will be getting involved with for example are online project enhancements or web chat projects, so experience within the online sphere is essential. People fit is key for this role, the team are a friendly vibrant bunch and need someone with energy and enthusiasm to join them.

The organisation are looking for someone who is happy to work on a 1 year fixed term contract with the look at going perm after the 1 year. For an exceptional candidate, they would consider a 2 year fixed term contract.
