Junior Civil Engineer

Our expertise spans the complete spectrum of engineering activities through all phases of the project lifecycle and across Nuclear New Build, Defence and Civil Nuclear programmes.
Assystem’s Nuclear New Build Division has recently been awarded several design contracts, and as a result are expanding their team in Bristol. As such, we now have an opening for a Junior Civil Engineer to join our Hinkley Point C based team to support with Reinforced Concrete Design activities.
Through developing and training working alongside Senior Engineers, your role will eventually be responsible for;
* Modifying reinforced concrete structure designs compliant with the ETC-C
* Maintaining QA procedures in delivering the CW design
* Working with the CAD Designers in the preparation of the design drawings / models
* Managing engineering changes in line with company procedures
* Liaising with colleagues in Paris
Experience Required
* We will ideally be looking for individual to be degree qualified or equivalent within Civil or Structural Engineering.
* Ideally, you will have had some experience within reinforced concrete design, specific experience on infrastructure or complex projects would be highly advantageous
* Seismic analysis experience or understanding would also be advantageous
