Job Title Junior Chef or Chef De Partie

Independently run fresh food pub are seeking a Chef De Partie to assist the Head & Sous chef on a day to day basis. The pub / restaurant can hold up to 50 covers.

Located equal distance from Colchester and Sudbury the pub is set in a lovely countryside location.

With a great team morale and a positive approach to customers this pub has grown in reputation in the last 2 years with regular customers who enjoy the local brewed ale and returning diners who enjoy the seasonal produce. The pub caters for all tastes and encourages both couples and families offering small bites, sharing platters, a la carte meals and traditional Sunday roasts.

The Role;
 Cooking with fresh food classic. pub dishes made from locally sourced produce, presented to a high standard with a modern twist
 As Chef De Partie you will be happy to run and manage your own section under instruction for the Head & Sous chef
 You will be able to input ideas to the menu and will be a good communicator
Summary:
 Mix of split and straight shits
 • No live-in available therefore transport essential due to location

What we need from you
 Proven experience in fresh food restaurant service
 A good work ethic, a reliable individual who enjoys a team environment

 Independent – Working with owners that DO understand the hospitality industry and have previous experience in running pubs / hotels
