Junior CAD Draughtsman

My client is the UK’s leading fitted furniture manufacturer and retailer. Over the last 48 years they have installed tens of thousands of bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms across the UK.

Due to expansion an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior CAD Draughtsman to join a rapidly expanding company that offers training, mentoring and progression.

The Role:
• Designing and developing company products for display in nationwide showrooms.
• CAD and AutoCAD
• Liaising with suppliers, customers and colleagues.

The Person:
• You must have experience with AutoCAD.
• You will have CAD / AutoCAD qualification.
• You must be able to read technical drawings.
• The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and team player as you will be working with other designers in a dedicated showroom design department.

*VectorWorks (not normally used with kitchen/bedroom design) experience would be an advantage as this software has been adapted to benefit kitchen design, other illustrating suites, CAD / AutoCAD knowledge is essential.

Salary offered depends on experience £26,000plus Training, Mentoring, Progression, Overtime.
