Our client is part of a group of companies based in Kent that have over 40 years experience delivering an innovative range of specialist services to the construction and marine industries. Their projects can range in value from £1k to £10m with projects ranging from anything to include new floors through to D&B bridges, refurbishment and restoration works to historic buildings, bridges and structures with markets to include Rail, Highways, Marine, Hi-Spec Residential, Commercial, Retail and Public Buildings. They have an enviable reputation for their projects completed; working throughout the UK with a number of term maintenance agreements in place.

Due to sustained growth they are now seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior/Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in their Kent office. You will work closely with senior members of the Commercial Team and be office based with site visits when required.

You will:-

• Have a minimum qualification of HNC in Construction. A Degree in Quantity Surveying highly beneficial
• One years plus experience within Quantity Surveying within a UK Contractor/PQS
• Be commercially and contractually aware
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Be highly motivated and keen to learn
• IT literate
• Full UK Drivers Licence
• Stable work history
• Reside within the Kent / SE London area – within 45 mins commute
