Junior Accounts Assistant

Salary: £26,000 per year

Junior Accounts Assistant – About The Role

In this role you will be reporting into the Accounts Payable Supervisor and assisting with the daily running of the accounts department. This role comes with an AAT study support package as well as a hybrid working scheme within a vibrant finance function.
Your key responsibilities will be:

* Processing multi-currency and multi-VAT number invoices.

* Assisting in the payment run, including validating banking information.

* Managing internal approval of invoices and reviewing VAT posting of invoices.

* Requesting and reconciling supplier statements.

* Dealing with queries and building relationships with internal and external customers.

* Purchase ledger for non-product and commission invoices.

* General admin duties including filing and photocopying for the department.

The successful Junior Accounts Assistant will have:

* Good excel skills

* A strong academic background

* Previous office experience is desirable

* Good communication skills

* Good organisation skills

* A car and a full UK driving licence
