Investigative Software Engineer – Technician Agnostic

Salary: £48,000 – £72,000 per year

Senior Software Engineer – Cambridge – £40,000 – £60,000
(You will be required in the Cambridge office ‘post COVID’ circa 50% of the week)

We have a brand new software engineering position available for an award winning Mediatech Company in Cambridge looking to scale their technology team after continued success. Having just launched a new SaaS solution, with host of high profile clients, and an exciting roadmap of work – this position represents an opportunity to join a fast-paced innovative business with big ambitions.

We’re looking for a passionate software Engineer in the truest sense of the word – someone that sees a problem and wants to solve it – regardless of the technology-stack. If you’re driven to understand how things work, first to download the latest SDK or figure out unfamiliar technologies, this could well be the ideal next role for you! With attitude and aptitude being at the core of this role, it could equally suit someone with a few years of commercial experience or someone with a lifetime of software engineering under their belt.

The role fits into a talented team of polygot full-stack engineers looking to expand, integrate and develop the pioneering platform, continuing to push what’s possible within their domain.

The types of experience we’d love you to have exposure to includes:

– Cloud computing – AWS, Azure or GCP
-Javascript and Node.js
– Docker / Kubenetes
– PHP, C, C++, C#, mobile application development (to name a few)
– Powershell
