Salary: £29,100 per year

Hays Specialist Recruitment is working in partnership with The Pensions Regulator, which is situated in Brighton, East Sussex, as they seek to recruit an investigation and enforcement advisor to provide a focused, effective and efficient support service for the Automatic Enrolment (AE) Compliance and Enforcement Function’s Investigation and Enforcement Unit, which focuses on the regulation of automatic enrolment and defined contribution late payments.

The Pensions Regulator is the UK regulator of work-based pension schemes whose responsibilities include maximising employer compliance with the duties in the Pensions Act 2008 and other relevant legislation. Their principal aim is to prevent problems from developing. TPR are risk based in their approach and use their powers proportionately and appropriately, with the aim of putting things right and keeping employers and schemes on the right track for the long term.

The job responsibilities will require the right candidate to:

– provide administrative support for cases including recording minutes, completing documentation, issuing of notices, supporting visits and preparing court cases.
– operate the Review Service (Appeals) including the review line, and preparing complete and accurate documentation for the Review Officer.
– contact relevant stakeholders to acquire certain information in relation to cases in a timely manner.
– provide Business Admin support for ICE and act as a super user for ICE and Documentum
– be responsible for the timely and accurate inputting of data and saving documentation into the case management system in line with KPIs and policies.
– support the Case Team Leaders and the Compliance and Enforcement Lead as required in the operation of the function including organizing meetings, producing minutes, management information reports, stock control and other such duties.

The essential skills of the successful candidate includes:Â

– High level of demonstrable computer literacy with a proven working knowledge of MS Office products
– Experience of working in line with robust governance and risk assessment processes, and ensuring the security of sensitive material
– Experience of working with multiple stakeholders at all levels
– Ability to make decisions, be well organised, work to tight deadlines and to be a team player
– Preferably experience of working in an investigation/ enforcement environment
