International Sales Order Processor

Salary: £30,000 – £33,600 per year

Are you an exceptional Sales Order Processor with international experience? Can you manage customer accounts with ease? Do you love working within manufacturing? If so, we really think this role might be right up your street!

This isn’t your ‘run of the mill’ sales order processing role. You’ll have dealings with distributors, business development managers, sales and marketing people so your capacity to be highly organised and excellent at communicating is essential.

This company is a world leader in their field and has an enviable reputation for service and delivery. They have a wide distributor network and this role is to ensure that the relationship between the distributors and manufacturer remains strong and that orders are processed on time, without error and where there are errors, you are able to take ownership of them and deal with any query through to resolution.

Your day to day duties are likely to consist of:

* Processing customer sales orders that come through the export distributor network, the website, email and phone and this forms the largest part of your role (about 70%)

* Customer service, complaint handling, supply chain co-ordination, maintaining distributor account information, tracking orders and updating relevant parties, tracking the conversion of enquiries, resolving issues and taking ownership through to completion of orders

* Working with overseas offices and business development managers to ensure exceptional delivery of product and service

* Tracking and record all activity on the CRM system (database) in order to provide background and ‘next steps’ for the sales/ technical service/ marketing teams to ensure effective follow up.

* Effectively collaborate with the sales & marketing teams to refine the sales process, help with outbound email campaigns to distributor network and help with improvements where spotted

* We are looking for someone who has the capacity and capability to ensure that the business is followed up and supported wherever possible

If you have a second language that would be ideal (Spanish, Italian, French, eastern European) but this is by no means essential.

The product is an electrical/mechanical product so a technical or manufacturing background is needed as the product base can be complex.

We are looking for someone with:

* Previous experience within a sales order processing /customer service / account management / sales support / supply chain / export sales type roles

* Manufacturing/production background

* Knowledge of export sales and a second language would be advantageous

* Good analytical skills and attention to detail

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for international accounts

* Flexible approach to workload and expectations

* A second language ideally but again, not essential by any means (Spanish, Italian, French, eastern European)

Down the line, the position could well become involved if that is what you want and the company have the need. You could be more involved in; account management, marketing, data cleansing and supporting the Sales Director in various admin activities to generate business opportunities and ultimately increase orders.

This is not a sales role by any means. What they need is someone who is able to embrace the evolution of the position and create their own unique position within the business would be ideal.
