Salary: £48,000 – £54,000 per year
Anderson Knight is working with a well known client based in the Mosspark area to recruit an Internal Auditor. You will be responsible for developing an audit plan which covers a wide range of Head Office and Group functions, as well as assisting the Company Secretary with the management of the overall Internal Audit function.
This is a newly created role which will be perfect for someone with a keen, analytical mind. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team; and you will have the initiative and desire to drive improvements in the business.
There will be an element of travel around the Glasgow area to visit business units. Our client is offering flexible working of three days in the office and two from home.
The main responsibilities the Internal Auditor position entails are:
* Planning, conducting, and reporting the audits of various Head Office and Group functions
* Reviewing audits conducted by other members of the internal audit team
* Carrying out site audits at various business units
* Assisting with ad-hoc investigations where required
In order to be considered for the role you must possess the following:
* An accountancy qualification (CIMA/CA/ACCA) or QBE
* Strong communication skills
* A proactive approach to work
* The ability to solve complex problems
* An outgoing personality
* A driven/motivated individual
