Up to £28,000 plus benefits DOE.

This new role presents as an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer who thrives in being challenged and developing their design skills and experience in a forward thinking and modern consultancy.

You will be the type of engineer who sets the standard high. Someone who is looking to work with leading industry professionals and not just learn, but take on more responsibility. You will be sharp enough to operate in client facing environments, with the ability and desire to present and meet customers face to face. You will see the need to challenge and develop your growing abilities and want to test your skills at the cutting edge of Consultancy Design on leading Scottish industry design projects.

A dynamic personality will be utilised well and fit into a highly motivated and settled M+E team. Taking opportunities will be second nature to you, and there will be lots of opportunities to move towards Senior Engineer level. This role will be ideal for someone who is feeling that their own potential is not being tapped into, and others are blocking the way of progress.

In order to be considered for this excellent role you will need to show the following:

• Be degree qualified with minimum 3 year’s relevant project experience or HND level with 4 year’s relevant project experience. Also a desire to attain Chartered Engineer through CIBSE.
• Project design experience ideally from one of the following: Industrial / Whisky Industry, Education, Commercial, Residential but others considered.
• Proven competency and experience in using IES Virtual Environment Thermal modelling software and Hevacomp Netsys.
• The character to be able to define yourself and settle into a professional, hardworking team quickly and with the ability to not take yourself too seriously.
