Interim School Finance Partner

Salary: £20.4 – £24 per hour

This medium size multi academy Trust is seeking an experienced finance professional with extensive knowledge of academy finance.

As part of the central finance team, you will partner with a cluster of primary and secondary schools, leading and providing support on budget control and spend. You will play a key role in providing day-to-day financial information for planning and control purposes and advising and guiding Headteachers on budget management and forecasting.

The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of academy accounting, understands teaching/school support staff salaries and the impact of this on financial planning. You will be a highly professional individual with excellent communication skills, and possess the natural ability in gaining staff trust. You will be a self starter with a flexible approach as you will manage your own daily schedule with home working available if you are not on school premises.

An accounting qualification is desirable and a car driver is essential due to the location of these schools. This is a three month assignment due to sickness cover with an immediate start.
