Vacancy Description
West Berkshire Council is seeking a skilled individual to act as Payroll workstream lead and support the project team and payroll team with the implementation of ITrent in February/March 2024.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive experience in payroll management, including knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex payroll issues
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring payroll data is processed correctly
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
- Experience using payroll software and systems – ITrent is essential
