Interim Lettings Officer

We are currently recruiting for a Voids and Lettings Officer for an immediate start for 3 months based at Holmes Chappel, CW4

Main Duties:

Accountable for the timely and appropriate letting of properties to minimise rent loss.
Liaise with neighbourhood teams, repairs team and contractors to ensure that properties are ready for let within target timescales.
Ensure that an effective and efficient service is provided to all existing and prospective residents. Work with local authorities to ensure that we offer our vacant homes to those most in need and in accordance with our agreements with them.
Work with asset management and neighbourhood teams to identify properties and areas that are becoming hard-to-let and contribute towards solutions.
Work with the development and housing teams, and local authorities to let all new homes promptly. Complete CORE data and returns accurately and submit on time.
Carry out effective administration of all aspects of your job. Implement and review local lettings plans.It will be a very Customer focused role that will require regular contact with customers, reference requests and arranging viewings.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a Housing Association or Local Authority and preferably have lettings experience.

They will also have good IT skills (Excel and Word) and work well within a team and is also well organised.
