Interim Group Manager of Development (PT Option)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Manager to take on a Head of Planning Service role with an LPA in the West of England

The borough is a vibrant and successful area and faces the challenge of maximising the benefits of significant growth while enhancing the quality of life in our market towns and villages and retaining our beautiful landscape.

Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive, this is a corporate role, which gives you significant influence to shape and develop communities and places.

The role requires an experienced planner and senior manager; the successful candidate will be covering development management, planning policy as well as economic regeneration and community development. Applications should be able to demonstrable experience of delivering high quality services, managing change, and creating successful relationships with partners and stakeholders.

This contract will be for an initial period of 6 months, but may extend. The client is open to different working arrangements including full time or a part time role (3 days).

Rates are negotiable, but we would expect them to range between £420 and £575 per day.
