Interactive Producer – An Interactive Producer is required to liaise with clients prior to, during and post their events, including the preparation and testing of software, apps and hardware, for a market leading and award winning interactive technology company. The company focusses on specialising in innovative hardware, software, mobile apps and service for live meetings and events, based from Liphook, Hampshire.
As Interactive Producer you will be responsible for managing and operating interactive technology on site across venues in both the UK and overseas. You will be responsible for the creation and editing of displays for screen, app pages and interactive Powerpoint presentations, whilst also attending production meetings and site visits.
The Interactive Producer position is not a normal office role and you will be taking sole responsibility for setting up high profile interactive events and offers exciting opportunities to travel abroad to places such as Barcelona, Dubai, France and Switzerland. The Interactive Producer will therefore have a flexible attitude to working hours and show enthusiasm on site and in front of clients.
This position may suit a recent graduate from an Entertainment Technology, Computer Games Technology, Digital Media, Computing and the Digital Image, Computing and Digital Sound, Creative Computing Technologies, Music and Sound Technology or Product Design background, looking to embark on an exciting career with a progressive company that encourages promotion from within.
Candidates with a less technical degree but holding a passion for, and good level of competence in IT will also be considered.
Key responsibilities:
– Liaising with clients prior to, during and post their events by phone and email
– Preparation and testing of our software, apps and hardware prior to the event
– Managing and operating the interactive technology on site (UK and overseas venues approximately 30% of work is abroad) and with live audiences
– Attending production meetings and site visits
– Creating and editing displays for screen, app pages, and interactive PowerPoint presentations
– Providing a report to the client of the data captured
– Providing internal reporting and recommendations for optimal utilisation of our system
The Applicant:
To be considered for this role applicants must:
– Be flexible, professional, enthusiastic and mature in their approach to working
– Be able to take responsibility for and manage their learning during and beyond initial training
– Have strong general computer literacy
– Be proficient in the use of PowerPoint, Excel and Photoshop
– Have a basic knowledge of computer networking
– Have strong communication skills
– Be confident and comfortable in client facing situations
– Cope well with pressure and be able to work to tight deadlines
– Be able to work effectively by themselves and in team environments
– Enjoy travelling and have a flexible approach to working hours
– Hold a full drivers licence
– Have knowledge of HTML, CSS, advanced Wi-fi network skills (desirable but not essential)
– Be a university graduate
