Field Install Engineer – South East England

My client are one of the largest Fuel Management companies in the UK offering the best fueling solutions to their clients.

My client are looking to add another Install Engineer to their fantastic engineering team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: Installation Engineer
Reports to: Engineering Team Leader

Main duties and responsibilities:
* Install and commission the full range of fuel monitoring systems and associated products including pumps, tanks and tank gauges, all to the highest standards with the minimum of disruption to customers.
* Manage the relationship with customers to ensure that expectations and service levels are exceeded.
* Escalate any customer or technical issues to line manager to ensure highest level of customer service.
* Conduct mechanical work and/or electrical fault finding engineering works to customer equipment as required by either service contract or fault notification.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualifications/Experience:
* Qualified electrician
* Minimum of 2 years’ electrical engineering experience, preferably within fuel management
* Good knowledge of fuel management systems and pumps

Skills/Attributes:
* Must be physically fit and with a smart appearance
* Ability to liaise with customers face to face
* Good IT skills
* Strong communication skills
* Problem solving skills
* Full UK driving licence

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Location: Home based – with daily travel and regular overnights
Hours: Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week
