Inside Sales Coordinator – Freight Forwarding
Job Description
Up to £30,000 per annum + bonus
Caledonia Recruiting is currently assisting a leading freight forwarder in seeking a self motivated and career minded individual to join their inside sales team. This organisation has a fantastic reputation within the industry and offer a full range of multi modal freight services.
The right candidate must have experience within Freight Forwarding. This can be both within Operation’s or a Sales capacity.
As an Inside Sales Coordinator you will be responsible for the following:
- Maintaining and developing new and existing client relationships
- Dealing with inbound enquires regarding requests for quotations
- Establishing new business opportunities
- Targeting a client base of existing customers to reintroduce the company whilst establishing whether their are requirements for your services
- Liaising with different offices/ departments within the organisation
- Consulting clients on the best means of transport for their goods (Air, Sea or Road freight)
- Following up with perspective clients in order to provide them with their requested quotations
- Booking sales appointments for Sales Managers if necessary
