Salary: £32,400 – £40,200 per year
Our client is a large, worldwide, FMCG manufacturer who are leaders in their field with a plant in the Norwich area and 24 sites internationally.
With a site turnover in the region of £10 million pounds per annum they manufacture using the latest, technology and have a forward thinking, dedicated team of skilled people working in the business, making it a highly successful organisation.
The company is currently undergoing a considerable period of growth and as a result is adding some exciting positions within the company.
A further injection mould setter is required to join the established shift teams.
Working closely with the team leader you will be responsible for the following day to day:
* Health and Safety awareness ensuring a zero accident mentality following all legal and company procedures.
* Manufacturing performance to plan including recording, resolving and escalating issues to meet defined Quality Criteria.
* Process control and continuous improvement.
* First line maintenance, manage Operator Asset Care to plan.
* Tool and colour changes in accordance with the process settings and necessary fault finding,
* Facilitating the training/mentoring/induction of colleagues.
* Problem solving within the cell.
* Material movement and control.
* Identification and implementation of waste reduction initiatives.
* Proper packaging of the produced goods and disposal of the waste
* Maintenance of a safe, clean, and tidy work area in cooperation with the other shift workers
We are ideally looking for mechanical qualified machine setters with a good engineering aptitude.
Salary to suit experience, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, shift role.
