Industrial Sewing Machinist

Salary: £14.4 per hour

Direct Response Employment Services is looking for a bright and enthusiastic new member of our client’s Sewing team. The Industrial Sewing Machinist role is based in our client’s factory in Trowbridge and is a full-time permanent position.

Working in a friendly and supportive team, you will be working in the sewing section, to upholster furniture

Responsibilities and Duties

• You must be competent on a twin needle industrial sewing machine and have relevant experience.
• Able to work in a fast-paced role and able to work to manufacturing targets.
• You will undertake activities as required by the demands of the business ensuring that products are manufactured in an effective and timely manner.

The client has specified that applicants would have a minimum of 1 year of experience in sewing in an industrial environment, excellent time management skills, be proactive and methodical, be calm under pressure and have a hands-on approach.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday 38.5 hours per week. Monday to Thursday 08:00-17:00, Friday 08:00-12:30.

Pay rate is £14.4per hour.
