Income Team Leader

Salary: £37,200 per year

We are working with a social housing provider, to assist them with their search for a new Income Team Leader to join the team on a permanent basis

Main responsibilities of the role will include:

• Line management & performance management of the Income Recovery team who cover:
  
  • Income maximisation including collection of current and former rent arrears
  • Collection and management of rechargeable debts
  • Arrears Prevention and Financial Inclusion
  • Rent Accounting
  • Benefit and Money Advice (benefit checks, claims for HB or HCE)

• Management of a small patch of your own property rent accounts
• Maximising income collection for all current customer charges
• Former debt management
• Report writing and data analysis
• Budget accountability

Using your previous experience of working in the social housing sector and in particular within an income management team, you will assist the Income manager in delivering the operational income collection service for the organisation within agreed targets and budgets with co-ordination and supervision of the team.

This is a hybrid role with the requirement to attend the office at least twice a week.

You will require a full driving licence and access to a vehicle and ideally have a CIH qualification or equivalent.
