Salary: £26,000 per year
The Role:
Our clients, a digital printing company based in Southend are looking for an experienced iGen Operator to join their growing company.
Duties will include:
• Plan orders using information received from the sales team
• Ensure that the final printed product is finished in time for the dispatch team
• Update the system at each stage of the process
• Work within the companies Quality Management System
• Monitor quality of job output for correctness and image quality
• Troubleshoot equipment problems. Arrange for the engineers to attend if necessary
Candidate Specification:
The successful candidate MUST have previous iGen experience within the print industry. You should also have/be:
• Worked in similar role before
• Experience of Xerox iGen 4
• Self-motivated
• Excellent communication skills
• Good attention to details
• Accurate and fast planner
• Willing to stay until job is completed
• Full Creative Suite experience including: Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
• Experience of hand finishing
Other Information
This will be on a rotating shift pattern including days, nights and weekends.
