Start date: Immediate
Duration: Ongoing
Location: South England – SSE patch
The Shorterm Group are currently recruiting for a number of HV Fitters to support a number of our clients projects the SSE framework (Southern England – Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire & Oxfordshire)
These HV Fitter positions are contract / temporary roles and are expected to run for 3-4 months initially, with the likelihood for extension.
For your application to be successful, you must meet and your CV must highlight each of the criteria listed below;
*Recent & demonstrable electrical substation project experience – essential
*Valid SSE Cat 1 Authorisation – essential
*Valid BESC ticket – desirable
*Basic operational knowledge of electrical or mechanical systems.
*Previous experience of working on HV substation sites including elec/mech fitting or jointing experience in a open Busbar environment
*Good operational knowledge of electrical power distribution systems.
*Site safety passport and/or experience of working on CDM sites.
*SSSTS OR SMSTS is desirable, not essential
These HV Fitter roles will be covering the SSE patch but if you have authorisations for other DNO’s, this would be beneficial.
