A Dynamic Health and Safety Manager with a manufacturing or industrial background is required for a growing business based in Sussex.

HSE Health & Safety H&S Manager – Manufacturing – Sussex – £50k

The Role
 Working in a manufacturing environment on Health, Safety and Environmental / Quality initiatives to improve the overall performance of the business
 Overseeing the movement of key aspects to different sites within the company and the safety effects to reduce risk
 Conducting risk assessments to reduce the risk in the business
 Conduct GAP Analysis to review company’s current status
 Drive and champion Best Practices throughout the business
 Covering auditing, report writing, statistical and operational analysis aspects to understand where the risk in the business could be highest.
 Working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment

The Person
 Experienced Health and Safety Manager with an industrial, manufacturing or pharmaceutical / GMP background
 Current H&S Manager with professional qualification including a NEBOSH Diploma
 Bring extensive HSQE knowledge to the table and be keen on making a difference
 The right person for this role could currently be working in a role such as Health & Safety Manager, Health & Safety Director, HSQE Director, HSQE Manager or SHEQ Manager.
