Human Resources assistant

Human Resources Assistant – Hull / East Yorkshire – £25-£28,000 plus superb benefits

Global Specialist Engineering organisation has a great opening for a Human Resources Officer to support and maintain the organisation’s local recruiting systems, HR administrative reporting, and employee benefits support being responsible for overseeing continuous improvement projects and responding to the needs of their internal customers.

As a Human Resources assistant you will be responsible for advertising local and global job openings, interviews and testing of applicants, selection of staff, arrange on-boarding, provide information on conditions of service, pay and promotional opportunities. Reporting to the US based HR Manager you will work with global HR team to support the HR Team delivering effective reporting and analytics on all aspects of HR, maintain headcount reporting, work collaboratively with the HR Team, compile data to show results, collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence (Talent, Business Partners, Benefits, Learning Development) to support their analytical needs and provide analytical support for the administration of compensation plans including data validation for year-end decision making and calculation of annual bonuses. You will also develop analytical tools and reports for regular monthly Management information, plan, develop and implement staff recruitment including formulating corporate agreements, offer letters and other employee documentation, provide advice and information to management on HR information needs, implement training initiatives, support travel and expense systems and general legal department administrative needs

You will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a previous HR role including experience with recruiting, talent selection, and onboarding, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal and technical support skills combined with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and have familiarity with HR resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
