Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per year
We are currently recruiting a HR Business Partner (People Partner) to join our existing team within an independent Hospital. We work in partnership with the NHS to develop a range of excellent facilities for our patients and staff. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the HR Business Partner will be the first port of call for all operational HR aspects within an organisation. This will include either advising line managers on the most effective ways to support their teams, assisting with employee relations and ensuring staff welfare is at the heart of what you do. Overall, the HR Business Partner is responsible for supporting the employee cycle, ensuring all policies are consistent and that all HR queries are dealt with promptly, efficiently, and reliably, ensuring positive outcomes are achieved.
Your responsibilities as the HR Business Partner will include but are not limited to:
* Dealing with various HR queries throughout the hospital/business.
* Monitoring, reviewing and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation and best practice guidelines.
* Informing employees of their rights and entitlements and keeping them up to date on any changes that are made
* Managing staff welfare and building relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing their expectations.
* Engaging with managers and employees at all leaves of the business in career progression and succession planning to ensure the vision and values of the organisation are promoted and adopted.
* Supporting operational leaders with various capability investigations, including grievance and disciplinary
* Partnering with line managers to review employee relations, performance management and staff management through effective engagement.
HR Business Partner skills and competencies
HR Partners will have a CIPD Level 5 or above. Interpersonal skills and being a team player are absolute musts, as you will work with a number of people at all levels across the business. Self-confidence and being persuasive are important soft skills to have, as well as knowledge of HR systems.
HR Business Partners will be expected to be proficient in the following:
* Organisational and administrative skills
* Experience in an HR environment
* Advising and working with senior members of staff
* IT programmes and HR systems
* Personable with strong communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business
* Driven and determined
* CIPD qualified
* Have the ability and confidence to work independently and as part of a team.
* Practical and logical; able to solve problems quickly
