HR Advisor (Education Sector)

Salary: £26,000 – £46,800 per year

Sue Ross Recruitment are delighted to be working with a specialist educational establishement based in Sheffield City Centre. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are recruiting a permanent, full time HR Advisor to join their dedicated team.

This is hands on, varied and generalist role that will involve the following:

* Conducting investigations and resolving grievances

* Supporting staff with ill health and similar employee relations processes

* Ensuring you stay compliant with policy and legal frameworks

* Maintaining accurate data on HR systems

* New starter compliance

* Absence management and reviews

* Providing generalist advice to staff and management

The ideal candidate will realise the importance of safeguarding, and have a rigorous approach to vetting and compliance. You must also be self sufficient and able to take your own notes in meetings.

This is not a remote/home working role. You will predominantly be based in Sheffield city centre and another Sheffield based site, but as restrictions ease there may be occasional UK travel to other sites.

Applicants must have soid HR experience and CIPD qualification is desirable but not a requirement. HR experince gained within the edcaution and/or care sector is advantageous, but not essential. Past experience of Ofsted and CQC inspections desirable but not essential
