Housing Resettlement Officer

Housing Resettlement Officer required in East London. An opportunity has arisen working with a reputable organisation who focus on the provision of social housing to individuals who are vulnerable and have difficulties in sustaining their tenancies.

This is an exciting new position in to the organisation where the successful candidate will be involved in Project Management, Allocations and Lettings and re-writing of new Policies and Procedures in relation to Resettlement.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide support and advice to organisations current tenants, ensuring quality of life and sustainability of tenancy
Provide quality resettlement service to homeless clients, liaising with housing providers to ensure ongoing support and property network

Experience Required:
Experience within Housing / Local Authority ideally specific within Resettlement, Lettings and Allocations
Clear understanding of Housing and Localism Acts
Experience of working with vulnerable clients including care in the community and mental health
