We have fantastic opportunities to join a brilliant facilities team within a hospital based in South Warwickshire. We require Hospital Porters to meet the needs of patients in this ever-changing busy world we face. Training, Uniform, Holidays and Pension are just some of the benefits you will receive, also this is a Temp to Perm position with fantastic career prospects and salary will increase once the position is permanent. You will work 5 out of 7, 37.5hours per week covering all days and nights on site, shifts will vary from 8hours to 12hour shifts 24/7.

Previous knowledge of this environment is not necessary as a full training course over a 3-week period will be provided to all candidates, you will also require a Full Enhanced DBS Disclosure – this will be applied for via Hospital

The successful candidates will be active, fit (lengthy time standing), ability to carry medium to heavy equipment, have a caring and compassionate nature to project a pleasant, helpful, safe, and positive hospital environment to all patients.

Your main responsibilities will include transferring patients to different departments via bed, chair or trolley, transferring patient notes, moving and relocating medical gas cylinders, waste management, and transportation of blood. Ensuring of the patient’s wellbeing at all times. Covering 24 wards from specialist care units to outpatients’ departments.
