Homelessness Prevention and Assessment Officer

Our client, a large City Council based in West Yorkshire, is seeking an experienced Homelessness Prevention and Assessment Officer to join their busy team.

You will be responsible for providing a holistic assessment of housing and support needs for customers at risk of homelessness, providing advice and access to appropriate housing options. You will be working within a friendly team, responding to all queries from a range of customers and service users, contributing to the Council’s overall aim to provide a high level of customer service. You will carry a heavy caseload and ensure timely customer outcomes while offering advice on sustainable prevention options.

Our client is seeking an Officer with extensive knowledge of the Housing sector and current, relevant legislations. You will be committed to continuous self and service development and have a flexible approach to work.
