My client provides personalised support and care for people with learning disabilities; autism; head and spinal injuries; neurological needs and other complex conditions. They promote a person-centered approach in all aspects of the support offered. They are currently seeking experienced home manager for one of their homes in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire
Salary £30,000
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
33 days annual leave per annum (Including Bank Holidays)

Our home provides support to young people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and challenging behaviour. The people living at the service are making the exciting transition from child to adult services, some leaving home for the first time.
The town has shopping and leisure facilities, and Leeds, Bradford and Halifax are all within half an hour’s drive, offering more opportunities for recreational and educational activities. Everyone is encouraged to take part in a wide range of activities, both within the service and in the wider community.
As the Registered Manager, you will develop the staff team enabling the individuals we support to reach their full potential. Reporting to the Operations Manager, and working as part of a wider team of Home Managers, you will seek to ensure the highest standards of support are delivered in the service. You will be passionate about developing systems within the home and keen to further expand the provision we provide to those in the community.
Financially astute and exceptionally organised, you will join us with a Registered Managers Award plus an NVQ4/SVQ4 in Health & Social Care or Leadership & Management or possess an NVQ3/SVQ3 in Health & Social Care and be eligible to complete the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care. You will certainly be experienced in care management and will possess excellent knowledge of Care Standards, Regulations and Valuing People. Above all, you should be as approachable, as reliable and as dedicated as we are, and you’ll be poised to hit the ground ‘sprinting’.
