Highways & Infrastructure Engineer

My client, a well-established multidisciplinary are currently seeking an Engineer to join their highways and infrastructure design team at their Welwyn Garden City office.

Working as part of a team you will be responsible for technical support on the development of highway and general transportation infrastructure projects. Working across a wide variety of projects you will undertake scheme development, preliminary and detailed designs and project management.

Requirements:

* BEng or higher technical qualification
* Substantial relevant knowledge gained from a design office environment
* Proven ability to undertake and deliver Section 278 and 38 Highway Adoption projects
* Technical design skills in AutoCAD and PDS Standalone/AutoCAD
* Working knowledge of WinDES
* Highly capable in alignment design and signs and road marking with further skills in pavement design and drainage design
