HGV Class 1 Drivers Urgently

Delivering up to 2-3 deliveries/collections per day to stores throughout the north of the UK. Very clean and well maintained fleet of Mercedes units no more than 3 years old. A highly professional and well run transport operation based in Sherburn in Elmnet that offers a enjoyable & exciting work environment.

Client Description

Our client is one of the UK’s market leaders in supply chain that coordinates logistic supply for of one of the biggest supermarkets in the UK. Operating out of a RDC in Sherburn in Elmnet this partnership has been developed & built over the course of 6+ years in order to deliver the highest standard.

Key Duties

1. Delivering cages & pallets to stores on well planned routes daily.
2. Maintaining a high level of customer service that the depot prides itself on.
3. Driving at high & professional standard in accordance with the client high H&S expectations.
4. Reporting to the transport & contract management teams in order to keep a good level of communication.

Skills Required

1. Minimum 1 year Class 1 experience.
2. No more than 6 valid/showing points on license.
3. No DR, DD, CD, TT codes on licence.
4. For insurance purposes, the driver must have driven for 180 days in the last 24 months.

Additional Information

We can accommodate your preferred start time with routes despatching constantly over a 24hr period. The regular shift is between 8-12 hours.
