HGV Class 1 Driver

Salary: £26.4 per hour

We are finalising a contract with a leading Film industry supplier based near Heathrow Airport/M25.

Duty will involve transporting accommodation and kit trailers to filming locations all over the UK, with occasional wait and return responsibility on set.

Being fast-paced and ever-changing creative industry can offer something different to the regular fridge or container work, with more human contact and fewer routine visits to the same depots, stores etc.

There is no minimum licence requirement; however, all candidates with a licence held less than 12 months would need to attend an agency assessment to confirm their ability and have a minimum of 90 days of active Class 1 work under their belt.

Minor points are tolerated, but DD and DR will disqualify you from the application process.

Salary:

Monday to Friday: £26.4Per Hour 

Saturday: £23 Per Hour 

Sunday £25 Per Hour 

All Rates are Inclusive of Holiday pay 

Shifts will differ in length, and the degree of flexibility helps.

We have been asked to underline that interpersonal skills are sought after in that role. Film sets are dynamic, changeable and require a will to help attitude (within reason). You might be asked to move the trailer and then move it back, plug it into the generator etc.
