HGV Class 2 Drivers

Driving Plus have been awarded to work in partnership with DHL Automotive at their busy site Tyre Fort, where we require experienced C licence Class 2 drivers for ongoing assignment. This is a very exciting opportunity to come and work at one of DHL’s largest automotive distribution centre in Birmingham area.

As a national preferred supplier to this company we are looking for experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to work on a long term fixed contract basis, with a regular start times, working 5 out of 7 days per week. This is a fantastic opportunity for full time professional drivers and the role includes trunking of products to and from suppliers to each manufacturing facility, also store deliveries across the UK. Upon completion of our client’s assessment you will be rewarded with excellent pay and working conditions, as well as long term ongoing work with flexible working options and odd days to suit. You will be fully competent in driving Class 2 vehicles to the highest of standards in order to ensure the smooth flow of the operation and customer expectations are met.

The Salary: s for Ltd Company drivers are as follows:

* Monday to Friday Days – £26,000 per year
* Monday to Friday Nights – £26,000 per year
* Saturdays – £26,000 per year (from 00:00 to 12:00)
* Sundays – £26,000 per year (Saturday after 12:00 to Sunday from 12:01 to 23:59)

Only drivers with a HGV category C license will qualify, with 12 months previous experience would be desirable. You must have no more than 6 penalty points for driving offences and no driving bans. References to cover the last 3 years will be required.
