Job Title: Health & Wellbeing Manager

(Maternity Cover)

Location: North Tyneside

Salary: £25,290 to £31,552 per annum

Hours: 36.25 hours per week

Fixed Term until December 2024

Age UK North Tyneside is looking for an organised and experienced individual to lead a wellbeing programme supporting the organisation’s aims and objectives by facilitating access to the Centre’s for adults of all ages and abilities. Also, to encourage the participation by the local community in a range of leisure and health activities organised and managed by the Centre and relevant Age UK North Tyneside staff.

The successful candidate will support the development of a vibrant, customer focused business with an enthusiastic atmosphere and approach that spans all customer groups instilling character and commitment into the Centre. The candidate will be responsible for all operational aspects of service delivery provided at the Wellbeing Centres on a day to day basis and to ensure the effective provision of service delivery standards.

As a minimum you must have a Level 4 qualification in the same discipline or same level qualification in a similar field, be positive and motivated and have excellent customer services skills and are confident in your communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills dealing with customers, carers, families, and staff.
