Healthcare Assistants / Clinical Support Workers – NHS

Precedo Healthcare have an opportunity for Healthcare Assistants/Clinical Support Workers and Student RGNs looking to develop their clinical skills on various NHS Acute services including; Hospitals, physical rehabilitation, elderly and children’s services. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work in a variety of environments throughout Rotherham and surrounding areas. We offer flexible work and can accommodate any other commitments you may have.

Job requirements

Assisting qualified staff in the delivery of nursing care
Recording appropriate written documentation
Following hygiene and infection control procedures at all times
Assisting with patients’ physical and emotional needs, (including personal care where necessary) ensuring dignity is maintained for the patient at all times
Assisting with patients’ mobility where necessary
Assisting with turning, moving and repositioning of patients using manual aids where appropriate
Assisting patients with their nutritional needs
Participate in the admission of patients and preparing them for discharge

Candidate requirements

Eligibility to work in the UK
Minimum of 6 months Support Work experience in the NHS within the last 2 years
Strong communication skills
Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Evidenced immunisation history to include Hepatitis B, MMR, TB and Varicella
Willing to undertake a DBS Check (previously CRB)
