THE CLIENT:
This is a great opportunity to join a prestigious Sheffield based steel manufacturing company on a temporary to permanent basis. We are recruiting for a Health, Safety and Environmental Coordinator.

THE JOB:
You will be based in the Sheffield site with the following duties; Responsibility for Health & Safety and environmental audits, risk assessments, creating and maintaining of the companies procedures, Investigating accidents and spills and reporting accordingly, chairing safety meetings, occupational health, arranging medicals and drug and alcohol tests in compliance with the companies procedures.

CRITERIA:
Previous experience within a similar Health & Safety role and a NEBOSH qualification is essential. Our client is willing to provide training on the Environmental part of the role and the IEMA qualification for the successful candidate. Applicants should have excellent IT and Communication skills and a professional attitude.

BENEFITS:
In return you will receive a fantastic package including a salary up to £26,400. In addition the company offers a contributory pension, health care and a generous holiday package of 32 days including stats. Upon successful completion of a three month temporary contract you will receive a permanent contract. There is also a bonus structure in place. The hours of work for this position are Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm.
