Job Title: Health and Social Care Assessor / IQA

Salary: £26,000 – £29,400per year

Package: 25 days holiday + BH`s (increases upon length of service), Pension, Equipment, Mileage + much more!

Location: West Midlands / South Staffordshire – must be flexible with travel

KM are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading private training organisation who is looking to appoint an Assessor / IQA specialising in Health and Social Care to cover West Midlands / South Staffordshire.

The Role

– Quality Assurance of full Apprenticeship frameworks in Health and Social Care to levels 2/3 including Functional Skills to level 2.
– Assess a small caseload of learners completing full framework Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care to levels 2/3
– Support and observe Assessors in the field, provide feedback, support and coaching in order to deliver outstanding teaching and learning.
– Develop, update and maintain high level sampling plans in line with company and awarding organisations requirements
– Lead and conduct standardisation visits – ensuring required actions are carried out within the required timescale and providing feedback via standardisation meetings.
– Manage under performance and take appropriate actions in line with target setting / compliance and monitoring.
– Coordinate and monitor caseloads, ensuring team targets are being met in line with set KPI`s
– Produce reports for senior management based on team performance, grading and learner cohort progression against agreed learning plans

Essential Criteria:

– Must hold a recognised IQA / Verifier Award (IQA / AVA / V1 / D34)
– Experience of coaching and developing a team of Assessors
– Proven experience as an IQA for Health and Social Care Apprenticeships
– Hold relevant occupational competency in Health and Social Care.
– Excellent knowledge of SFA funding compliance and the Apprenticeship process.
– Full driving licence and own vehicle
– Must be flexible with travel
