Health and Safety Supervisor – Regional Role

Global Distribution centre looking to recruit a NEBOSH qualified Health and Safety Supervisor to manage the Health and Safety function across their UK depots. Great career opportunity for a Health and Safety professional to join a world class forward thinking organisation within a fast paced customer driven environment. The successful candidate must be willing to travel and have experience within logistics and Distribution or a similar working environment, with excellent communication and influencing skills. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing the Health and Safety for all of the depots under their remit whilst driving a behavioural cultural change programme across a large complex multi shift operation. You will proactively engage in all Health and Safety project across all UK operations whilst completing an auditing programme at all the sites allotted to you. You will identify, coordinate and drive improvements in Safety, Quality and productivity working with the management teams and reporting into the Health and Safety Manager. The ideal candidate must be willing to travel requires leadership experience in a previous similar Health and Safety role with a flexible approach and able to manage own prioritise and workload. It is advantageous to have experience of Lean, 5S and Kaizen and experience of Environmental best practice would also be beneficial.
