Health and Safety Advisor – Civil Engineering

We are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join the Exeter office of a national civil engineering main Contractor. They turnover circa £20m per annum in the region and cover a broad range of projects and sectors. Key projects range from £250k – £11m in value and include:

Rail
Water
Highways
Bridges and structures
Environment AgencyThey are looking to hire and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join their team. Working out of the Exeter office their geographical patch covers Devon, Somerset and Cornwall. Many of their projects are safety critical.

Reporting into the head of HSEQ you will be soley responsible for the day to day implementation of company HSEQ procedures as well as designing new strategy and process.

The role will involve travel to sites within the region and occasional visits to Head Office.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

NEBOSH or NEBOSH Construction
Experience working in a civil engineering or rail environment
