Health and Safety Advisor

Jaguar Land Rover are looking for an experienced health and safety advisor on a contract basis.

Skills Needed:

• A NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent)
• Attention to detail;
• Responsible;

• The successful candidate will be a skilled communicator and manager in addition to having the technical expertise to effectively manage safety compliance issues;
• Knowledge and experience to control risk at work and ensure that organizations meet current safety standards;
• Complex problem solving skills;
• Have strong analytical skills
• Understand typical sector-specific hazards and risks;
• Be able to communicate clearly with a variety of audiences;
• Understand how to identify workplace hazards;
• Understand the factors that affect human performance;
• Understand human behaviour and interactions;
• Understand how to deal with exposure to OH&S risks;
• Understand how to protect the confidentiality of health data;
• Experience conducting health and Safety Audits; (18001)
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2007
