Are you struggling to implement your ideas to make improvements, and looking for something that you can really make your own? Or maybe you are looking for a pathway to Sales Director? Then this could be exactly what you’ve been looking for.

You’ll be joining a reputable and growing business as Head of Sales & Marketing. Leading a small team of 4 (3 in sales and 1 in marketing), balancing your time between strategy and leadership, and management and development of key accounts. The company make scientific equipment used in R&D departments globally, with a network of distributors helping them to do that too.

This will definitely be a leading role, as right-hand person to the Managing Director. Looking at the strategy, forecasting, and putting a bit of data behind the sales plan: where are the opportunities in the market, how are the targets going to be met, how can we improve the sales funnel?

With a recent relocation of the office, they have a great environment and are huge believers in collaboration. As well as selling equipment, they also offer contract testing services, and have a state-of-the-art laboratory. So, you’d be working closely with the applications team in the lab.

For this to work, we need someone with a good scientific grounding. The users of the equipment are scientists, and we need someone who can understand the science behind the equipment and see things from the customers point of view. You could have sold scientific instruments, chemicals, or something associated.

The Candidate – Head of Sales & Marketing:

  • Previous sales experience of technical/scientific products.
