Head of Projects, Programme Manager

Salary: £72,000 per year

A designer and manufacturer of ATEX certified high value process equipment for general process industries. The business has a rich heritage of engineered solutions and is world renowned for delivering customer engineered solutions for hazardous area locations.

The Challenge
Given its reputation in their field and their expertise in design and engineering they often find that they have a full order book. Given the success in winning new business, and the sheer volume of projects they are managing they are now starting a restructure and change programme. As such they are wanting to appoint a project/programmes professional to review current structures, systems and processes to ensure the most efficient delivery of projects in the future.
This role will lead a team of PM’s and engineers to oversee the management of all projects from the project sign off, ensuring all contractual terms are understood, through design into production, FAT and installation. You will also be part of a senior leaderships team, driving a culture of customer service and engagement whilst ensuring communication with the customer throughout the lifecycle of the project.
The Candidate | What Are We Looking For?
You will have experience of managing a multi-functional team of design engineers and Project Managers, managing large volumes of projects with values ranging from £50k-£3million.
You should have experience of overseeing multiple customer groups with complex contractual requirements.
You should also have experience of working in an environment that has adopted best practice in project management. Whilst not essential, experience of working with PLM software would be a huge advantage.
