Part of a hugely successful organisation, this well established South Wales manufacturer has developed an excellent reputation for product quality and customer satisfaction.
The business is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager who can operate strategically and operationally, ultimately ensuring the effective delivery of the company’s strategic business objectives and customer expectations.

Specific Responsibilities will include:

*Take complete ownership for the efficient running of a highly regarded engineered component manufacturer.
*Ensure the required performance levels are met in key areas such as Manufacturing, Continuous improvement and Waste reduction, Quality, Health & Safety and Customer satisfaction.
*Develop a Continuous Improvement strategy and improve manufacturing efficiency on process areas, from machining to component assembly area cells.
*Develop succession planning for key roles and individuals, identifying areas of long term personal development within the operational teams.
*Provide a positive role model in terms of leading and motivating others by recognising good performance and encouraging involvement and participation of employees.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

*5 years+ experience in a Production / Operations management role
*Experienced in managing a mechanical component manufacturing operation
*An ability to fully understand production data, analyse trends and take appropriate corrective action
*A proven manager and leader with the ability to motivate develop an experienced workforce
