Over in South Manchester, there is a small Finance SaaS platform provider.

Every day they are working hard to increase the functionality and product offering by building new modules using PHP, AWS & MongoDB.

One day they decided to expand, to use their recent investment to increase capacity of Dev hours and take their team to 15. Because of that, they need an aspiring CTO.

A Technologist who understands the inner workings of AWS and PHP who would like to gain the experience/coaching to be a CTO.

Each day will pose new challenges and there are clear objectives you can support and influence

Product ownership – direct what and how the product evolves technically
Culture creation/advancement – work with the current team to implement a way of working
Grow the team under the guidance of the culture you have implemented
Form an alliance with the Chief Architect to make use of the best Tech/Tool for the job
Remain hands-on if you want, Take up a pure coaching role.
As you successfully complete these challenges, you will end up building a product you can be proud of, be able to see your efforts grow others whilst the support from your peers helps you navigate into a true CTO position.
