Salary: up to £33,600per annum depending on experience

3 month temporary assignment

Our client has a brand new Restaurant situated on the promenade of Brighton’s Famous seafront. They are currently looking for an experienced Head Chef who is used to working in a fast paced busy environment in our brand new open plan kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Leading kitchen in head chefs absence.
Providing guidance and support to fellow chefs.
Working alongside the head chef to maintain kitchen organisation and training opportunities.
Keeping cooking stations clean and fridges stocked
Have excellent communication skills, written and verbally.
Have ability to make decisions and use initiative when needed without instruction.

Requirements:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about what they do, has previous experience in a similar role and a creative individual who will bring new ideas and opportunity to the table.
You will be responsible for the ordering and functioning in the kitchen a strong work ethic is a must!
You will also have their full control over seasonal menu’s and have the responsibility to select own staff.
