Oracle Functional Support Analyst – Payroll

Role overview

This position involves the provision of functional support to managed services customers for Oracle EBS and Fusion across HCM Payroll, Compensation and Benefits. This will involve dealing with incidents, requests, changes and problems while liaising with technical support and service delivery teams.

The role is predominantly remote though it may involve occasional visit to internal offices and client sites.

Key responsibilities

• End to end support of Oracle E Business suite and Fusion customers through Incident, Problem and Change management.
• Ad hoc project requirements (providing estimates and implementing changes)
• Providing advice and guidance to end client users.

• Identify risks to the customer and/or escalate to SDM
• Respond to alerts/client requests
• Provide technical input to client reviews
• Maintain and develop technical knowledge and skills
• Assist in functional pre-sales and support transitions
• Provide support during UK working hours and 24×7 via rotational ‘oncall’ coverage
• Evaluate and promote new technologies
• Feed into service improvement

Must have skills/modules

• At least 5 years of experience supporting HCM within Oracle EBS. Specifically, Payroll and Human Resources.
• At least 5 years of experience supporting Payroll, Compensation and Benefits in Fusion.
• Experience writing and troubleshooting complex Fast Formulas.
• Excellent communication and customer engagement skills
• Experience of working in a managed services team
