Handyman / Multi-Skilled Operative

We are working in partnership with a large national organization that offers support services within the Health Care sector.

My client is looking for a general handyman to assist and support the works team with multiple jobs in the Blandford and surrounding areas.

Ideally, we are looking for an experienced builder who can demonstrate good customer service skills and is prepared to go that extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
Experience as a Builder, Joiner or Carpenter would be beneficial.

This role will involve travelling to various locations and some duties will be:

Fitting internal and external hand rails
Building and fitting timber ramps
Laying concrete ramps
Installing galvanized rail
Installing wall fixed shower seats
Widening and altering internal doorways
Lowering kitchen and bathroom cupboards
Installing telecare (training will be provided)

To be considered for this position you ideally will be able to demonstrate the following experience/ knowledge:
Carpentry or joinery experience
Building experience
Be good with people
You must have held a driving licence for at least 3 years which qualifies you to drive a light goods company van
You must not ever have had any serious convictions on your driving licence or ever been disqualified from driving
You must currently have no more than 6 points on your driving licence

Hours will be Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm
