Handyman / Fabric Technician

A market leading M&E service provider is seeking a Handyman at a large site in Cambridge. This is a contract role which is lasting one year, with the possibility of a permanent role after.

Job Role:
You will be working Mon-Fri 40 hours a week, carrying our various duties, but will also be required to work independent from time to time. Overtime opportunities will be available. This M&E contractor is an established and well respected provider in the industry and one which continually strives to deliver the best possible employees to its clients. You will be working in a health care environment.

Relevant work experience includes but is not limited to;
• Woodwork, Painting, Floor tiling, Maintenance of the Building.
• Fabrics. Make, Do & Mend projects from start to finish.
• Reporting to the M&E Manager / Supervisor.
• To apply relevant trade skills to carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
• To assist the electrical engineers when possible.

Candidate requirements;
• Experience with PPM’s and minor reactive
• Minor Electrical or Plumbing works preferred.
• Must have building services experience.
• Relevant trade qualifications, such as City & Guilds / BTEC National Diploma / NVQ 2 Building Maintenance / Carpentry / Plastering are preferred.
• Client facing.
• Flexibility, Eager, and good Contientious attitude to work
